On March 26, 2021, 22 youngsters in Batman have completed a 10-days training on how to become an entrepreneur and set-up a new company in the manufacturing sector.
In the frame of the Project ‘Promoting Youth Employment in TRC3 Region’, the project experts, together with the DIKA experts, have trained the participants about the secrets on how to prepare a business plan and how to identify appropriate financial resources to get the business idea into reality.
During the training, the participants have also attended online the KOSGEB e-Academy on entrepreneurship and, upon positive results of the final examination, all trainees got the KOSGEB certificates on “Basic” and on “Advanced” entrepreneurship.
The awarding ceremony at the BATMAN University Central Campus has been attended by DIKA General Secretary Dr. Ahmet Alanli, the Deputy Governor Ms.Tuğba Polat, the deputy Rector Prof.Dr. Necmettin Sezgin, the University Secretary General Prof. dr. Lütfi Karakoyunlu, Dr. Musa Kılıç, project coordinator at the University, who have delivered the attendance certificate to 22 successful participants in a ceremony at the end of the training.
DIKA believes that investing in young people who have talent to become an entrepreneur is very important to increase jobs in the TRC3 Region.
